Maureen Trebilcock Kelly

Maureen Trebilcock is Architect (Unievrsity of Bio-Bio), Msc and PhD in sustainable architecture (University of Nottingham, UK). She has been a member of the group of study on geography, urban planning, architecture and arts in FONDECYT. Besides, she has been director of 3 FONDECYT projects, hosting researcher of 2 postdoctoral FONDECYT projects and co-researcher of 5 research projects (CONICYT, FONDEF and INNOVA). She has published 15 research papers in Web of Science and more than 35 research outputs in journals, proceedings and books. She has presented her work in The United States, Canada, Switzerland, England, Belgium, Italy, Ireland, Brasil and Perú and has given lectures in postgraduate programs in Colombia and Ecuador. She founded the Master´s program in sustainable habitat and energy efficiency in the UBB (MHSEE) and the scientific journal Habitat Sustentable. She ahs supervised 7 Doctoral theses in the Doctoral program on architecture and urban planning in the UBB (DAU). Her research area covers sustainable architecture, integrated design processes, energy efficiency and thermal comfort.

Arquitecta (Universidad del Bío-Bío), Master y PhD en Arquitectura Sustentable (University of Nottingham, UK).  Ha sido integrante del Grupo de Estudios Fondecyt de Geografía, Urbanismo, Arquitectura y Artes; Investigadora Responsable de 3 proyectos Fondecyt; Investigadora Patrocinante de 2 Fondecyt Postdoctorados; y co-investigadora de 5 proyectos Conicyt, Fondef e Innova.  Ha realizado 15 publicaciones en revistas indexadas en WoS (ex ISI) y más de 35 publicaciones en revistas científicas, actas de congreso y libros.  Ha presentado ponencias en conferencias internacionales en Estados Unidos, Canadá, Suiza, Inglaterra, Bélgica, Italia, Irlanda, Brasil y Perú; y ha dictado clases en postgrados en Colombia y Ecuador.   Fue fundadora y Directora del Magíster en Hábitat Sustentable y Eficiencia Energética; y fundadora y Editora de la revista científica Hábitat Sustentable de la UBB.  Ha supervisado 7 tesis doctorales del Doctorado en Arquitectura y Urbanismo de la UBB.  Su línea de investigación se centra en la arquitectura sustentable, proceso de diseño integrado, eficiencia energética y confort térmico.
